WW2 M6 Sherman or Stuart Tank periscope, great shape with clean, working optics. 11 x 6 x 2.5 and heavy as a lead safe.
This could have been used in one of the 761st Tank Battalion's Black Panthers machines that kicked a lot of tail at the Battle of the Bulge. A highly-distinguished separate battalion of "negro tankers," they were part of the Twenty-Sixth Armored Division under General George S. Patton. (Read Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's excellent book about these guys). Or this could have been used as part of Patton's legendary "Super" Sixth Armored Division, who participated in the Normandy Breakout, and ultimately the liberation of Buchenwald.
