Matching 1920s French 6 Pc Art Deco Bakelite Hand Mirror and Vanity Set, Pearlized Emerald, by Pyramid

Vintage French 1920s pearlized-emerald celluloid Art Deco vanity set from Pyramid, post-WWI, with highlights of gold and black in a chic filligree combination. Very elegant.

CONDITION - All of the pieces have been used to some extent, though not a whole lot, and some may have minor witness marks that are not distracting. Mirror has a spot on the back. Great patina and beautiful.

My grandparents lived in London, Chicago and New York in the 20s and 30s. My grandmother was a flapper (all 4'11" of her -- we still have her tiny, flapper wedding dress). I imagine her using a vanity set like this to prepare for an elegant evening out at the theatre on Piccadilly Circus, or perhaps on Michigan Avenue, maybe even Broadway. Flap on Bramma!
