20 Vintage 4 inch Louis Marx nylon leatherhead football players, Pro Bowl Live Action Football Game
These guys used to have a home field (to wit, the Louis Marx Co. Pro Bowl Live Action Football Game), but since they lost the field, they're just barnstorming. They are huge and heavy, standing about 4 inches tall, and both teams together weighs several pounds. The little carts roll, and both sets of goal posts are present, one needing a spot of glue. Lots of wear and toning on the great primary colors of these 21 leatherhead Marx football players. I am not sure what is with the paint on them -- I have never seen one of these in painted set from the factory; rather they all are the base red and yellow. So perhaps this is a rarer set, or perhaps these guys original owner decided to paint them to his liking.
