Vintage 1979 Kenner Star Wars Micro Collection Die-Cast Tie Bomber, Complete IOB, Holy Grail, Rare

Quick Update* Yup, there's one on that "other" site which is somewhat cheaper (only somewhat, especially given that ours is 15 percent off, or about $1700, right now). It's all a matter of taste. Take a look at that one, then thus one. This one does not have plastic bits the color of custard. Nor is its box as nicked up. Anyway, off my soap box . .

This is beyond cool. Truly a Holy Grail for most collectors. The Tie Bomber was released for a shorter period of time, in smaller numbers, and possibly even in a much smaller geographic area, than all the other die-cast vehicles (Tie Fighter, X Wing, Slave 1, Falcon, etc.). The Force is strong with this Bomber. The box is in gently/barely used condition, very secure, great color and gloss. You can clearly judge for yourself. The original bubble is included as well. In fact, I was able to remove a few pieces of extant artwork still hanging onto the bubble and discretely reaffix them so the artwork in the tray of the box is essentially complete. It would be very easy to put this Bomber in the bubble and reseal it if you want to. All the plasticy buts on the Bomber are nice and white, with de minimis discoloration (e.g., the engine exhausts each have about a 1 mm little tan spot, and that's about it). Damn, damn, damn nice shape. The box, again, is magnificent. Plus, I fished the Empire Strikes Back collection catalog out of the box (yes, without either opening or damaging the box -- I used The Force). If you add this to your collection, you will be very pleased. So, may the Force be with you, and may you also be touched by his noodly appendage.
