Vintage Guillow's Balsa B-25 Mitchell Kit 805, Unbuilt, Majestic. Named after General Billy Mitchell, nearly 10,000 of these medium duty bombers were built, and they proved effective and reliable during WW2 in every theater as flown by the US, Royal Air Force, Royal Canadian Aur Force, Australia, China, Brazil, Russia, and the Dutch. She was also the chosen platform for Doolittle's Raiders, who, in response to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, launched 16 stripped-down Mitchells from the flight deck of the USS Hornet to strike Tokyo directly in a loud and clear message that they had indeed awakened the "sleeping giant." This is a fabulous, detailed, and accurate scale model of the iconic bomber as done by Guillow's, one of the best out there. I believe this is complete, but it may be missing the bulkhead blank, which is easy enough to cut out of another piece of scrap balsa. The price is very cheap to account for this.
