1985 Ewok Battle Wagon, Kenner Star Wars POTF, Power of the Force, Your Choice, Value Priced, Read Description Details Re Cages

Please Note: Both of the cages are from the Ewok Village; the inclusion of the factory correct cage for one of the Battle Wagons in these photos was unintentional. To reiterate, the Cages for BOTH Battle Wagons for sale here are from the Ewok Village Cage. Ans yes, they are both priced accordingly, so please don't ask for a discount when you get one that has the Village cage. That's the purpose of this disclaimer.

Anyway, enough mumbo jumbo. This is one of the last few vehicles/sets Kenner released after Return of the Jedi, finally petering out with the Droids Cartoon series shortly thereafter. From POTF on through Droids, you are getting the rarer Kenner vehicle and sets. Here we have your choice of three Battle Wagons. We're trying to make these affordable as possible, so none of them is perfect.

Right: The right Battle Wagon is in really nice shape, with no breaks or repairs. Everything is original and in great shape, except: (1) the drum, which is 3D printed, (2) the cage hook, which is custom made out of Sugru. There's a minor slice in the front of the battering ram, it's missing the ladder, and the original tusks have been smoothed out with Sugru where the original owner's cat chewed the living bejeezus out of them. In some ways the tusks look a lot more realistic now, without looking weird. Just kind of better, more organic. Real? And it displays beautifully.

Left: Left is a work of love, and is intended to make a respectable Ewok Battle Wagon available for even the tightest budget. Yet it still looks fine, so you can both afford it, and be proud of it. Because, uh, it's not headless, and it's substantially complete. Most noticeably, the skull and tusks are 3D printed, and the cage hook is custom from Sugru, while the cage is a donor from an Ewok Village. I made two repairs: (1) the top deck was broken off at the two points where it screws into the big supports underneath, and (2) the bottom deck was broken in half, so I repaired it with two-part epoxy. It's got the original battering ram, with a half inch cut in the membrane (which is actually quite white, otherwise), and is missing several often-missing accessories, to wit (1) the drum, (2) the ladder, (3) the ramp, and (4) the side panels. But again, if you are on a tight budget this one will work just fine, at least as a placeholder in your collection.
