1977 Toho Japan Shogun Warriors Godzilla 19" pickle tail, sandbag legs, complete with firing fist!

And the angels sing! Oh, so one of my absolute favorite toys as a kid. I vividly remember opening and being blown away by my ginormous Godzilla on Christmas morning 1977. This guy is a gem. He's the first version TOHO Japan, with sandbags in his legs, smooth pickle tail (no dorsal scutes), much brighter paint, especially the red, and other variations that distinguish him from the subsequent versions. Like, instead of the rwo halves of the head being glued together, the very first ones were screwed together, with textured plastic plugs covering the screw holes. Neat fact!

Note, his flame tongue lever is snapped, but his flaming tongue works just fine (it is repaired with the repro slide-over lever made by the pros at Shogun Plastics). His shooting fist loads and fires but is hair trigger. His arms and legs move just fine. His feet and claws are in really nice shape, and he rolls perfectly. He has the rare, first generation pickle tail (with no dorsal scutes/spines), and NO CRACK at the base. Sandbag legs. He's a genuine TOHO Japan, NOT a TOHO USA, and not a MATTEL, Shogun Godzilla! Doesn't get any better than this.
